Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. WHY DO WE VOLUNTEER?
Christ set the ultimate example of service and sacrifice when he condescended to us and submitted to death on our behalf. Likewise, we are called to humbly serve others. As we seek to grow in community within the body and extend our reach outward to the world around us, we are in need of volunteers who are willing to serve the church for the advancement of the kingdom. HOW CAN YOU HELP THIS SPRING?
- KIDS MINISTRY (BOTH LOCATIONS): Sunday school teachers to join a monthly rotation.
- CARE & SHARE: Drivers to transport donations from the Northern Suburbs to the church office on Tuesdays or Thursdays.
- CREATIVE ARTS TEAM: Photographers from both campuses to capture Sunday services, church and group events, and ministry activities. Creative heart to help with website and weekly newsletter updates.
- GROUPS: Administrative help for Groups Ministry leader.
- GROUPS: Help for Men's Ministry with organizing events, as well as study leaders.
- HOSPITALITY TEAM (DOWNTOWN | SINA STREET): Ushers, Communion lay-leaders, Greeters, Tithe Collectors, Coffee & Snack table setup.
- HOSPITALITY TEAM (NORTHERN SUBURBS | PEFKI): Ushers, Communion lay-leaders, Greeters, Tithe Collectors.
- OUTLIERS MINISTRIES: Drivers to transport those unable to drive themselves to services as well as make volunteers to call and connect with Outlier members.
- OUTLIERS MINISTRIES: Knitters and crocheters to make comfort dolls.
- WORSHIP & TECH (BOTH LOCATIONS): Musicians who play instruments and/or sing. Tech team members to display Audio/Visual presentations during services.
- YOUTH (FRIDAYS AT COSMO VISION & SUNDAYS AT SINA STREET): Leaders and support.
