Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just in fact you are doing.
1 THESSALONIANS 5:11
On 6th February 1995 the Indonesian Fellowship after a year of encouragement and support from the Outreach Committee was formed under the leadership of Ermina Tarigan . The first meeting was held with six different nationalities in attendance and there were prayers German, English, Dutch, Arabic, Filipino and Indonesian.
Dr. Lucia Tarigan, Ermina's sister, joined the Indonesian Fellowship in November 1995 and by the grace of Jesus Christ, the Indonesian Fellowship grew in faith, mercy, Christian education, outreach, singing ministry and number.
As we are able we provide support for the needy and visit the sick.
Musician Christian Enrico ministers with his guitar at both worship services at St Andrew’s and at Indonesian Fellowship meetings. Worship tapes and Bible readings in Indonesian language have been made for the glory God and to support the needy in Indonesia.
A monthly newsletter "AGAPE" is published which consists of articles in English and Indonesian.
The Indonesian Fellowship holds Bible studies and prayer meetings for different needs and for receiving spiritual power and guidance. We fellowship with God and one another as we share our love for each other. In adversity and in loneliness we give to each other as God has placed on our hearts.
